2020 EBA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
The EBA introduced its first annual EBA Membership Drive in February last year. In one month, we increased our membership numbers by 15%. That growing community of helps our members grow their network, benefit from new points of view and adds new energy into our Association. This year, we want to do it again!
The EBA prides itself on being an organization responsive to the needs of small business – including being financially accessible. We remain the most cost-effective business organization in the city, with the lowest membership fees. Return on that investment is also high as many of our members find new business opportunities through the EBA, new partnerships and great referral partners. Your membership is what you make it by attending events, learning from guest speakers and creating new relationships.
This year’s Membership Drive is focused on driving growth for the EBA that will directly help our members. To help entice you to join for the year, we are offering a few incentives for the month of February only.
JOIN OR RENEW TO WIN
New members who join in February will be entered into a draw to win their one-year membership fee back OR two free tickets to the EBA annual fundraiser (likely, the derby). That’s right, your year’s membership fee could be reimbursed completely or you could have two tickets to our exciting fundraising initiative at the race track for free. Either way, you will still have a membership to Edmonton’s oldest business association.
Renewing members will be entered into that same draw to win back their one-year membership fee or two tickets to the EBA fundraiser. That’s right, we want to reward renewing members who understand the value of their EBA membership by providing them with a chance to win their year’s membership or two free tickets to the derby. Renewing members can renew their membership in February, even if their membership is not yet up for renewal.
FEBRUARY REFERRAL PROGRAM
The EBA has more than 140 active members but we still need to continue to grow our organization. It’s always more fun with friends and we want to encourage members to make more connections.
As such, we are introducing the new EBA Member Referral Program. For any member, new or renewing, who refers five (5) new members to the EBA in the month of February, they will receive their one-year membership for free. The referrals can be of any level, from non-profit ($130) to Business Membership of 101+ employees ($345). We simply want to encourage your network of small business owners, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and leaders to grow with all of us.
You as a member help grow our community of SME owners, home-based businesses and entrepreneurs.
